Since 1990 I have been involved in examinations of students. Examination experience includes:

• MSc in Implant Dentistry examiner.
• MSc in Prosthodontics examiner.
• BDS external examiner, Newcastle University (2005 -2007).
• MSc external examiner, University of Dublin, (2007 -2009).

Research Interests

• Image guided surgery.
• Simplified use of dental implants.
• Quantification of quality of life improvement arising from provision of dental implants.
• Quality of care as a predictor of outcome in removable Prosthodontics.
• Metrology and use of co-ordinate measuring machines.

Publications

• 36 refereed papers in peer reviewed journals.
• Many presentations, posters at national and international Prosthodontics meetings and many abstracts.
