Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

The BSSPD is committed to providing regular CPD for dental surgeons and dental care professionals. The BSSPD is increasing it's provision of such activities by providing links to badged BSSPD approved Courses relating to Prosthodontics.

Young Practitioners Group

To encourage participation from young practitioners, we aim to deliver a wide range of targeted study days, involving undergraduates, GDPs, Foundation Dentists (FD's), dentists undergoing specialist training and young specialists. In addition, we will be delivering parallel sessions at the 2015 Conference to foundation dentists to encourage their educational needs within Prosthodontics. Our next study day is to be held on 23rd July 2015 with the aim of providing specialty trainees an opportunity to practice oral examinations and obtain feedback on unseen restorative cases.

On-demand CPD

The BSSPD have produced live clinical webinars to be viewed 'on-demand'. Two hours CPD is awarded for viewing and successful completion of post-webinar quiz.

Webinars are available to BSSPD members only and cost £15.
