Conference Charity

This year, our conference charity is Bridge2Aid, a dental charity, to help train rural-based Health Workers in developing countries - giving them the skills, equipment and resources they need to provide emergency dental care.

Most of us have suffered from toothache at some point in our lives. It can be debilitating, constant, and excruciating. At home we can give ourselves some respite by simply reaching for the painkillers and making an appointment with our dentist. But for many people, that's just not possible; 75% of the world's population do not have access to a dentist, or even the simplest of emergency dental care.

Bridge2Aid is working to change this terrifying statistic. Their goal is clear; provide emergency dentistry and pain relief to those who need it most, and make a lasting change through training. Our ultimate vision is to provide emergency dental training for Health Workers in all remote communities of the developing world. By 2033, we aim to train 20,000 Health Workers in 40 countries, giving access to emergency dental care to 200 million people.
