Objectives

• To provide specialty trainees an opportunity to practice oral examinations and obtain feedback on unseen Restorative cases
• To promote the education of Prosthodontics, Endodontics & Periodontics
• To promote the role and position of BSSPD in line with the objects set out in the constitution

Outline

Format for the morning: Mock Vivas

• 30 delegates split in to 10 groups of 3 (combination of Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Endodontics)
• Each group will be given time for case preparation and then will be examined
• Each candidate will get an opportunity for 4 vivas

Format for the afternoon: Feedback and Discussion

• The examiners will talk through each case and provide feedback
• Question time to allow for any discussions.
